During this mission, I experienced the city as a dynamic and complex environment where human and animal lives are deeply interconnected. Working within this group allowed me to engage with the city in a very concrete way, through shelters, veterinary visits, schools, and public spaces. The group itself was supportive and collaborative, creating a space where ideas, creativity, and responsibilities were shared. This collective dynamic helped me better understand the importance of teamwork, intercultural communication, and solidarity when addressing social and ethical issues such as the situation of stray animals.
My main achievements during this

experience were linked to communication and outreach. I worked on social media content, visual documentation, and the design of the manifesto, helping to make the campaign’s message more accessible and engaging. I also participated in theatre performances, workshops with children, and field activities such as cleaning shelters and documenting veterinary care.
Through these actions, I developed several Youthpass key competences, particularly communication in a foreign language, social and civic competences, cultural awareness and expression, and learning to learn, as I continuously adapted to new contexts and audiences. This experience strengthened my confidence, empathy, and sense of responsibility. For the next days and the future of this campaign, I hope to see the project grow through stronger community involvement and long-term awareness, continuing to inspire empathy, responsible action, and inclusive coexistence between humans and animals.
