The Green Velocity exhibitions returned to Chania, presenting visual installations, reels, and interactive panels to a wider audience. These parallel events not only displayed Thessaloniki's work but also inspired local communities to envision safer and more sustainable transport ecosystems in their own cities.
🎯 Success Highlight: The exhibitions in Chania received positive feedback, with visitors engaging in meaningful conversations about civic responsibility.
💡 Quote of the Day: “From Thessaloniki to Chania, our message of safer, greener transport continues to grow.”

Message by the President of Azogyre regarding the cancellation of the event because of a fire to the village that day!
Today, I am posting photos of vintage artworks from our personal collection, which were to be on display to the public last Saturday, July 26, at Azogyre, but unfortunately, due to the devastating fire, we were forced to cancel the exhibition.
The exhibition was part of a 20-day nationwide campaign against road accidents. Unfortunately, however, as the exhibition began, a fire broke out in the village of Temenia, forcing us to evacuate the village.
Nevertheless, we are posting the photos in the hope that the message of road safety will be heard by our young people and that traffic accidents in our area will finally come to an end.
With respect

The Exhibition at the CHANIA Cultural Center
Photographic material from the Exhibition and Presentation on Road Accidents at the Cultural Center of Chania.
Sunday, July 27 -25, the Panhellenic Association for the Support of Families of Road Accident Victims, Agios Christoforos, and the Azogyre Cultural Association held an art exhibition in memory and tribute to the victims of Asphalt at the Cultural Center of Chania. The exhibition featured works created specifically on the theme of road accidents and, in some cases, actual objects from road accidents with the aim of raising awareness.
During his presentation and speech, the President of the Agios Christoforos Association, Mr. Stavros Polentas, emphasized that we still have a lot of work to do to completely eliminate traffic accidents, and we will continue to work toward this goal.
A big thank you to the artists who participated and worked tirelessly to make our event a reality: Rebecca Hamilton/GROS ROUGE, Claudia Boldura, Manto Kouliere, MEDICI, Marc Phillipi, Flora H Shiran, Eftychios Koukoutsakis, Sofia and Izabella Koukoutsakis, and to those who remained anonymous.
The exhibition is part of a series of nationwide and pan-European events that took place from July 10 to 30, with the support of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport and the Region of Crete.
