Participants took the lead today, managing tasks and reporting progress like true project coordinators. The team’s visit to the Train Museum sparked creative documentation of historical transport narratives, enriching their visual content for upcoming reels.
Afternoon sessions focused on capturing urban transport stories through photography and storytelling, all with an emphasis on pedestrian behavior and road safety.

Project GREEN VELOCITY: Detailed Itinerary and Objectives - Day 3
Morning Session (08:00 – 09:30)
Module 3.1: Progress Monitoring & Fieldwork Preparation
* Time: 08:00 – 09:30
* Location: Δυτικό Πολιτιστικό Κέντρο / West Municipal Cultural Center
* Objectives:
* To ensure all individual tasks are aligned with the project timeline and objectives.
* To facilitate a transparent reporting structure for monitoring progress and identifying potential roadblocks.
* To complete all technical and logistical preparations for the day's off-site fieldwork.
* Agenda:
* Individual Task Continuation: Participants dedicate this time to advancing their specific project roles (e.g., content creation, research analysis, communication planning) as defined in their personal work plans.
* Progress Reporting:
Team leaders, acting as quality managers, collect and summarize progress updates from their group members. This streamlined process provides a clear overview of accomplishments and allows for real-time adjustments.
* Fieldwork Preparation:
Final checks on equipment (cameras, notebooks), confirmation of roles for the field activity, and a brief on the creative and ethical guidelines for documenting public behaviour.
* Expected Outcomes:
* A transparent and up-to-date assessment of project progress against individual work plans.
* Strategic adjustments made to task lists for the following days based on current progress reports.

Daytime Session (10:00 – 11:30)
Module 3.2: Historical Study Visit: The Thessaloniki Railway Museum
* Time: 10:00 – 11:30
* Location: The Railway Museum of Thessaloniki, Eleftherio-Kordelio
* Objectives:
* To understand the historical evolution of transportation infrastructure and its impact on society.
* To analyze how major accidents and systemic failures have historically shaped modern safety protocols and public awareness.
* To foster a critical reflection on systemic responsibility, human error, and the need for a robust safety culture.
* Agenda:
* Guided Museum Tour: A comprehensive tour of the Railway Museum's exhibits, providing insights into the history of rail transport in Greece and the Balkans.
* Facilitated Discussion: A group dialogue examining how the public's perception of transport safety has evolved. The discussion will use the 2023 Athens–Thessaloniki train incident as a critical case study to reflect on themes of accountability, infrastructure modernization, and human fallibility.
* Expected Outcomes:
* A rich collection of visual assets and factual information to be integrated into future educational content and campaigns.
* A deepened understanding and nuanced perspective on the complex relationship between infrastructure, human error, policy, and public safety.
Late Morning Session (11:30 – 12:30)
Module 3.3: Creative Fieldwork: Documenting Mobility Behaviours
* Time: 11:30 – 12:30
* Location: Parks and public spaces in West Thessaloniki
* Objectives:
* To conduct an observational field activity, capturing authentic photographic documentation of traffic and pedestrian behaviour.
* To use the act of walking through an urban park as a catalyst for creative ideation and observation.
* To gather raw visual materials that will form the basis of compelling visual narratives.
* Agenda:
* Photo Documentation Activity: Participants actively move through the designated area to photograph real-world interactions related to mobility—observing how pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles share space.
* Creative Observation: The fieldwork encourages participants to not only document but also to find inspiration in their surroundings, connecting observed behaviours to the broader themes of the project.
* Material Collection: All captured images and notes are gathered to serve as a shared resource pool for the development of visual stories, social media content, and other educational outputs.
* Expected Outcomes:
* The creation of initial photo story drafts and conceptual series ready for further creative development and processing.
* A foundational collection of raw visual material that authentically represents local mobility habits.
Evening Session: Team Discretionary Time
Due to the high efficiency and successful completion of all scheduled objectives ahead of time, the formal evening session was canceled. This time was allocated for participants' personal rest and informal reflection, recognizing the team's excellent productivity and dedication throughout the day.
