During these three months, we completed many different projects, including gardening, painting, choreography, performances, percussion sessions, yoga lessons, and hidden treasure activities. For me, this was the best experience of living and working in a new country. Thessaloniki is a very beautiful and peaceful city, both to live in and to work in.

Performing in public spaces was especially meaningful, as both children and elderly people enjoyed it equally and shared moments of joy and fun with us. Working with children in the garden was also very satisfying and interesting for me, as it allowed me to connect, create, and learn through shared activities.

During this project, I also had the chance to work with other volunteers as a mentor, which was both challenging and rewarding for me. Together with Mariam, we prepared icebreakers and games to help volunteers connect with each other. We had a lot of fun, everyone enjoyed the activities, and we also supported the new volunteers in adapting to the new environment by showing them nice places to visit and enjoy in the city.
