Hi,

Diversity
Three month and a half since I started volunteering for EER. I missed to write half the articles I was meant to deliver. Simple task though. I just don't know how to make things simple and got overwhelmed and scarred not to produce anything good enough.
I figured out a meaningful topic to describe the actual moment I'm living in this mission. I want to talk about biodiversity regeneration and legitimacy to share knowledge.
In what I do, agriculture, gardening, environmental education, what stimulate me the most is regeneration. Its to witness life and bio-complexity increase with time.
The feeling of doing something meaningful come when i see a new species I haven't yet encounter flourishing in the garden. That's why I don't cut the grass, why I don't cut off the dead plant. They are habitat for wildlife to grow.
Wildlife is main key to soil regeneration. Soil regeneration is the main key to healthy and nutritive harvest. A soil in good health is a soil with a lot of biodiversity. Bacteria, mushrooms, micro-fauna. For them to flourish we need organic matter from whom they shelter, feed, reproduce, communicate.
Transmission
Almost everything I know come from non-formal learning. The legitimacy of knowledge comes from university and books. Regenerative agriculture is not yet legitimize scientific process. Adding to this my young age meaning that for the most part I'm still experimenting and the fact that Greece climate and native's plants are new to me. The final cocktail taste to me as illegitimacy to transmit what think to know about ecology.
But it is what it is and better something that nothing when it comes to give the youngest opportunities to discover and enjoy the garden's poetry and holy beauty.
Growth

Hard life is the Human's ones. Almost everything we do, think, eat, share has to be learn. The spiders instinctively knows how to built there shelters and how to hunt. Trees don't seem to doubt they can reach the sky and bees never wander why they have to work so hard. If knowledge comes from mistakes, It might take to enjoy failure to live the best of being human.
