Hi,

What happened ?

I was those weeks enjoying the first results of my principal ESC mission;

To cultivate and improve a garden in Karatazou park. Also provide environmental and gardening lessons to the Polichni 4th elementary school's students.

After several weeks gathering tools, seeds, plants, and thinking the organization and the transmission I finally welcomed the first kids to enjoy the garden.

We are still far from what it will become with patience and work. However with the spring blowing students enjoyed the flowers colors and the magic in the butterflies dance.

I could for my part experience what I thought about gardens and education and train my transmissions skills.

I received a lot of help. To see interest and motivation from both students and teachers proves me that it really is essential and positive to promote environmental education.

Another dimension

For us, urban citizen, I imagine the garden as a place to escape and transform our day to day principals.

Here in the garden we listen and observe. We recycle and protect.

To rush is to destroy. To work is to create.

There I fell protected and healing and if there in one things I wish to share it's this feeling. To share the words that once saved me: you have the right to be working outside, surrounded by beauty and peace.

How to remain ?

In the following weeks I'll, with the support of Esai en Roi members organize a training courses at the Polichni 4th primary school teachers. Sharing my thought for the garden's future.

Also we think how to be more connected with other school, collective or individual. As, for example create a bank seed in the garden intending to provide everyone that would love to start there own garden with free and reproductive seeds.
