URGENT: ESC 3 months Wild vibes - Bulgaria

Location: Mrachenik, Bulgaria (rural village in the Balkan Mountains)


Organizer: Smokinya Foundation


Goal: The “Wild Vibes” short-term European Solidarity Corps project offers young volunteers the opportunity to live and work in a rural Bulgarian community while contributing to sustainability, community development, youth engagement, and environmental initiatives. The project promotes active citizenship, intercultural learning, and personal growth through hands-on involvement in local activities and communal living.


Who can participate: Young people aged 18–30 who are interested in volunteering, sustainability, rural development, non-formal education, and community life. The project is especially suitable for participants who enjoy nature, teamwork, and learning through practical experience.


Participants from: ESC Programme and Partner Countries (according to eligibility requirements)


Number of places: 15 volunteers


Funding: Fully funded through the European Solidarity Corps programme, including accommodation, food allowance, pocket money, insurance, mentoring, and travel reimbursement according to ESC regulations. No participation fee is required.


Additional details:

  • 3-month ESC volunteering experience in rural Bulgaria

  • Based at the Bright Future Training Centre in Mrachenik

  • Located in the Balkan Mountains, surrounded by nature and hiking opportunities

  • Focus on sustainability, environmental awareness, and community engagement
