Training offer : Mentoring under Construction - Poland

Goal: The “Mentoring under Construction – Focus Mentoring” training course is an advanced residential training designed for mentors working within the European Solidarity Corps (ESC). Based on the Mentoring Competence Framework, the course aims to strengthen the quality of mentoring support provided to volunteers by deepening participants’ understanding of mentoring processes, learning support, and personal development pathways.

The training will provide a structured space for reflection, peer exchange, and skills development, enabling participants to enhance their mentoring practice and better support volunteers throughout their ESC experience. It also contributes to the broader quality development of volunteering projects by promoting mentoring as a key educational component of the ESC programme.


Who can participate: The activity is aimed at:

  • Current mentors supporting ESC volunteers;

  • Volunteer coordinators and project managers involved in ESC projects;

  • Representatives of organisations hosting or sending ESC volunteers;

  • Youth workers and trainers involved in volunteer support and learning processes.

Participants should already have some experience in mentoring or supporting volunteers and be willing to further develop their mentoring competences.


Participants from: Eastern Partnership countries, Erasmus+ Youth Programme countries, Southern Mediterranean countries, and Western Balkan countries.


Funding: Accommodation, meals, programme activities, and travel costs are covered according to Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps funding rules. Specific reimbursement conditions depend on the organisers and the relevant National Agency.

Participants will actively contribute their own experiences and challenges, creating a rich learning environment built on real-life mentoring practice.
