Goal: Mental Health in Long-term Volunteering – Healthy Volunteers & Healthy Coordinators is a Training Course aimed at strengthening the competences of professionals working with long-term volunteers. The activity focuses on resilience-building and provides trauma-sensitive, non-therapeutic support skills. Through workshops, peer exchange, and practical pedagogical tools, participants will learn how to better support volunteers’ wellbeing while maintaining their own mental health in demanding coordination roles.


Who can apply: Coordinators, mentors, tutors, and youth workers involved in long-term volunteering projects from Erasmus+ Youth Programme countries, including Austria, Belgium (DE, FL, FR), Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.


Funding: Funded under the Erasmus+ Youth Programme. Accommodation and food are covered by the hosting organisation, while travel costs are typically supported through the participant’s National Agency according to Erasmus+ rules. Participants will receive a Youthpass certificate recognising their learning outcomes.
