Flying Giraffes is an Erasmus+ training course designed for youth workers who want to develop creative and engaging approaches to teaching emotional intelligence, empathy and communication skills to teenagers, using Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and experiential methods.
Date : 20 – 28 June 2026
Location : Stare Juchy, Poland
Organizer: Fundacja Mudita
Goal:To strengthen youth workers’ competences in facilitating emotional intelligence, empathy and constructive communication among young people. Participants will explore Nonviolent Communication (NVC) through playfulness, movement, theatre, games and storytelling, gaining practical tools to help teenagers express feelings and needs in constructive ways. The training also provides space for peer learning, exchange of good practices and co‑creation of playful educational methods for youth work contexts.
This activity is for participants from: France, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Spain
Recommended for: Youth workers, trainers, youth leaders, volunteering mentors, youth coaches.

Funding: Funded by the Erasmus+ Youth in Action Programme. Accommodation, food and travel costs (up to the Erasmus+ reimbursement limit) are covered by the programme. Travel reimbursement follows the Erasmus+ distance bands; participants may choose between regular travel and green travel (higher reimbursement for low‑emission transport).
Participation contribution: Participants are invited to make a voluntary contribution (approx. €60–€100) to help cover workshop materials and meal costs.
Certification: Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser for recognition of their competence development.
