NEW TRAINING COURSE : Inclusive Participation in Democratic Life – Romania

Cultural organisations, youth workers, and trainers engaged in community development are invited to apply for the international training course Inclusive Participation in Democratic Life, taking place from 1 to 5 June 2026 in Romania (exact location to be confirmed).

Organised by SALTO Inclusion & Diversity and SALTO Participation & Information, this 3.5-day training focuses on strengthening the participation of young people with fewer opportunities in democratic life.

The course will provide practical tools, inclusive methodologies, and space for reflection on how youth workers and cultural practitioners can make democratic processes more accessible and representative. Participants will exchange practices, explore participation frameworks, and develop strategies to support meaningful youth engagement at local and international levels.

Funded by Erasmus+ Youth in Action, the training is open to participants from Erasmus+ Youth Programme countries and Partner Countries neighbouring the EU.

Upon completion, participants will receive a Youthpass certificate recognising their learning outcomes and competence development.
