This week began with the inspiring impressions left by the Ivanofia Festival, which took place on Sunday. We were still filled with emotions from the performances and spent time reflecting on them together.
From Monday onward, we shifted our focus to our main tasks — a combination of administrative, ecological, and organizational work. My favorite part of the week was working in the garden, preparing the soil for planting flowers and vegetables. We are maintaining this garden for schoolchildren who greatly enjoy spending time in nature. The idea of helping children strengthen their connection with the earth — and possibly improving their mental health — is deeply motivating for me.
In addition, I am inspired to work on a new project with my fellow volunteer, Saba, where we plan to organize yoga sessions in local parks. This initiative combines physical and mental well-being while encouraging people to reconnect with nature.
The week concluded with our participation in the Thessaloniki Marathon, where we joined Proteca to assist with first aid support for the runners.
Overall, it was a meaningful and fulfilling week, filled with activities that align with my personal values and aspirations.
