Social Inclusion week event

Writer's picture: Pauline LaruePauline Larue

From November 28 to December 1, we organized the Social Inclusion Week event with Dimitri Alepliotis, the project leader. The event took place in the 4th elementary school of special education in Thessaloniki, and took place during 4 days in the morning. The goal was to mix children from special education and typical education schools to do artistic and sport activities. I was in charge of the artistic part and we did mostly "handiedance" activities, painting gloves, their hands and so on, and Dimitri was in charge of the sports activities .

It was a little stressful because sometimes a lot of kids would come in and want to do the same activity, but with the help of the other teachers we handled it well and the kids had a lot of fun.
