I was thrilled to discover that the city was incredibly beautiful and captivating. There were so many shops and merchants, and the people were absolutely delightful, kind and supportive. We had the pleasure of working at the vibrant office "Esai en Roi" with Eleni and at the lively club "The Green Executive Club" with Katerina and Nikos. At the office, we had the opportunity to tidy, sort, prepare interviews, plan activities and create materials for these activities. At the club, we got to work as a team to make sure everything was spick and span before the guests arrived. We got the tables and glasses ready and made sure everyone was welcomed with a smile. We also did a training course to learn how to make the perfect coffee, which was a lot of fun! At the club, we got to do the cleaning, prepare the tables and glasses before people arrived, serve people once they had arrived, and do a training course to learn how to make coffee. I am so grateful for this experience, which has really boosted my self-confidence! I absolutely love learning English! I'm making a real effort to practise as much as I can. I've discovered a whole new culture, different meals from France, and the heat is so hot! The time change is just one hour more than in France, but that's not stopped us from having an amazing time. We met some really good people who welcomed us and treated us so well during these four weeks. I really hope to see them again one day!
