Erasmus+ Internships
My internship arrives at its end. After a little bit more than two months in Thessaloniki, I'm going back home. But before, I want to tell my impressions about the city which welcomed me.
Compared to the cities in my island, Thessaloniki can be seen as a big city. But in fact, I have the feeling that everything is always near here. Even if I couldn't drive, I didn't struggle to find places to buy groceries or even clothes. As I was in the very center of Thessaloniki, everything was really close to my house.
Thessaloniki gives this impression of always feeling like home. It is a calm but not boring city where people can go to relax.
I really liked the fact that all around the city there are ruins and old building. It is a real mix between old and new, history and modernity. My favorite place was the seafront. It is so nice and relaxing, and the sunsets are just amazing. Also, the view from the top of the White Tower is breathtaking!
I really enjoyed Thessaloniki!
