Martinique is a very small island (1 128 km2) situated in the archipelago of the Lesser Antilles (Caribbean). It is a French department, formerly colony.

Martinique is known specially for its beautiful beaches, rivers and landscapes. One fabulous characteristic of Martinique is the sunny and hot weather which lasts all the year.
