Hi,

After a long break I come back writing here to share the recent events that happened with the Epicuru's garden and Esai en Roi.

The 14th of July began the MADMaX campaign. The four first days took place in the garden where we explored and had refection around the biological ways of recycling and the options we have to gather and use water.

Why is the garden a privileged place to recycled and make art from discard ?

My first point will be to affirm that even a small garden is usually bigger than the habitation and so can receive a better quantity of those materials whom have lost their primal utility. I mean broken tools, electronics and plastics furniture, cartons, papers, aluminum... I mean trash.

To gather in the same place several types of trash is the opportunity to be creative while combining them to imagine a new life for them.

Then, I will say that we often need tools to create, to work, to transform. A hammer, a screwdriver, a nail, a paintbrush...

And I give it to you, all those can be found in the garden. In a place dirtiness is less important than home, neither to make noise and where to move facilitated by the wider place we got.

I'll close that argumentative triptych reminding the readers that in the previous articles I talks about the great power the garden, by the presence of nature, hold when we search to be creative.

This is exactly what have been done in Epicurus s garden during the MADMAX campaign.

We used recycled tools, for long time gathered different types of thrash and together imagined how to create useful, artistic and sustainable constructions.
