When we think of leadership, it's usually in the context of the workplace. But the reality is, we find ourselves taking on leadership roles in all kinds of situations, from spontaneous gatherings to family moments. The Erasmus project on joyful leadership brought me face to face with a different side of leadership, one that's not just skillful, but also filled with inspiration and purpose.


Through engaging workshops and activities, we investigated the foundations of joyful leadership, symbolized by a resilient tree: Its roots go deep into the personal 'why' of a leader, a crucial factor in spreading a visionary outlook. The trunk holds all the key ingredients needed to influence others and express our values effectively. Climbing up the tree, we find the branches, reflecting our communication styles and the essential skills for working smoothly with others. Following the path, we meet the leaves, which adapt to the wind, as a dynamic leader does when he uses different strategies to navigate toward his goals. At the top of this metaphorical tree, the fruit reveals the concrete results of our efforts, the final product revealing the quality of the entire leadership process.


Working on these elements in the project gave me a chance to discover more about my personality and leadership qualities. Observing both myself and the team during the project brought many revelations, enriching my understanding for the characteristics that define effective leadership for my perspective of view.


Grateful for the chance to be part of this transformative experience, I'm enthusiastic to bring this knowledge back home and share it with others. In essence, the joyful leadership project not only equipped me with practical skills, but also nourished a passion to inspire and
