Hi!!! It's the end of March, which means it's time to tell you how the first week of March went.
As usual, I'm writing to tell you that I haven't started painting graffiti in the park yet, as I've been busy with other projects and other work.
In early March, I took part as a photographer in the Hendie Dance, which took place at the Vafopouleo Cultural Center in Thessaloniki. The event lasted three days, from Friday to Sunday, and, as I mentioned earlier, I was also filming. Unfortunately, not many spectators showed up on the first day, but we weren't too upset because we quickly refocused our plans and focused on filming and photography.
As for the event as a whole, I really enjoyed it. The event itself wasn't dedicated to a specific theme, but rather served as a platform for various artists who danced, sang, and showed video reports of their projects on a screen so viewers could see what they were doing.
In addition to this event, we decided to delve into what work I could do after my contract ends in August. I had a long conversation with management, and we came to a common denominator: work on Erasmus projects, assist with administrative work, work on projects related to interns, graphic design, and so on. I'm thrilled with this news because it's a real opportunity to continue doing the work I love while still living in Thessaloniki!
At the beginning of April, we also discussed how the animal assistance program we ran in December needed to be supplemented. I quickly suggested the idea of creating a comic book! Remember, in December, I wrote to you about two performances in schools dedicated to the topic of homeless animals? Well, this performance was based on an original idea I once had because I wanted to draw a comic book, and the time had come! When it's ready, I'll post it for you to check out.
That's how my first week of March went! Thank you for your attention, I'll be writing about the last week of this month soon!
