Being part of the Skyrthalia Project has been an incredibly fulfilling journey, and I am truly proud to serve as the back office manager. My role focuses on editing articles and promoting our diverse activities across social media. This blend of responsibilities has allowed me to shape the narrative of our project and engage with a wider audience passionate about our mission.
One of my key contributions involved working with a committed team of Greek ESAI EN ROI youth workers. Together, we brainstormed ways to present SKYRTHALIA activities effectively in local community after the end of the main project and refine the project's deliverables. For example, we split into two main groups; we focused on diffusion of the gazebo future construction and the promotion of the manifesto of 12nd December 2024 that the basal group created @greenexecutiveclub (9 out of the 12 project volunteers).
Our goal was to ensure that the manifesto’s ideas would resonate widely. To achieve this, we conducted comprehensive training sessions to help spread its principles. We engaged over 10 Youth Workers and still keep on working on this initiative.
Nonetheless, I dedicated substantial effort to laying the groundwork for a KA2 project based on the Skyrthalia initiative, which I presented to the Board of ESAI EN ROI on December 22, 2024. This meeting was a digital experience that connected partners from Chania, Athens, Ioannina, and Thessaloniki, highlighting our shared commitment to collaboration.
The presentation was well-received, leading to a 30% increase in engagement from partners. This not only strengthened our network but also set the stage for future collaborations.
Additionally, I contributed significantly to the project’s video and photo album, which acts as a visual narrative of our journey and accomplishments. The power of visuals should not be underestimated; they can evoke emotions and tell stories that words often miss. The images captured during our events remind us of the transformative journeys we've embarked on together and will inspire future initiatives.
Another vital aspect of my involvement was supporting the translation of the manifesto. This task showcased our commitment to inclusivity and allowed our message to reach a broader audience. By translating our ideas into 25+1 languages, we enhance our project's potential impact.
Finally, the growth and achievements I have experienced reminds me the importance of teamwork and a collaborative spirit. Each contributor has played a vital role in creating the inspiring picture we see today, and I am excited to see how the Skyrthalia Project will continue to evolve.
