European Solidarity Corps KAIZEN Youth for Health
School is about to finishing and with it also the Project Emilio did throughout its time as volunteer. Nevertheless, even if he’s leaving, teachers and parents seem to be sure that they are going to use the games Emilio proposed both at school and at home.
The evaluation too place on Friday 25th of June at the school. Teachers were reunited and they were asked to answer some questions about the book Project. The questions were just a guide to the teacher to underlight the main aspects of the evaluation. They were about socializations, enjoyment, cooperation, the role of the volunteers and communication. Nevertheless, the most important thing was that the could express an overall evaluation, inclunding feeling and impressions, expecially regarding the children.
It turned out that everybody was really enthusiastic about the Project. The presence of the volunteers was really positive and estimulating for the children. They accompained the children with a lot of patient, monotoring them really carefully and interacting with them in a really friendly way. The communication between every party was effective and the result was that the children understood the games clearly and enjoying them. Also the communication between teacher and volunteers and teacher and teacher was well.-evaluated.
According to the teachers it was evident that also the children enjoyed the games, especially bowling, and that the Project estimulated their collaboration and communication.
These points are so important because they were some of the main objects of the Project. There is no doubt that these games are going to be used at school the following years!
