We are the Challengers
KA1 Erasmus+ 16-23.08.2021
“What would life be, if we had no courage to attempt anything?”
Crodo, a name that might not mean something to you but to me and -I believe-
everyone involved mean much more than a village in the Italian Alps and it
sparks wonderful memories to mind. The Erasmus+ program “We are the
Challengers” was a great opportunity to experience up close people with
different difficulties and cultural backgrounds. Trough engaging workshops,
having fun, sharing thoughts we got to connect with one another and made
friendships. After spending a whole week as a group, stereotypes about disability
are broken and you get to know the drive that everyone has, the dreams that
keep everybody on pushing despite the problems and a reminder that all we
have to do is to be humans and connect with each other and in this way the
world becomes better step by step.
I feel grateful for having the chance to created bonds with so many and
interesting people in a such picturesque background and for the reminder of a
Vincent van Gogh quote, “What would life be, if we had no courage to attempt
anything?”
