Goal: This training course focuses on decolonizing practices within youth work through the methodology of Theatre of the Oppressed. It aims to empower educators and youth workers to critically reflect on cultural biases, challenge dominant narratives, and promote inclusion and social justice. Participants will explore participatory theatre techniques as tools to foster dialogue, awareness, and transformative learning in their communities.
Who can participate: Youth workers, educators, facilitators, and individuals interested in social justice, inclusion, and participatory methods, particularly those willing to explore Theatre of the Oppressed in their practice.
Participants from: Austria, Belgium (DE, FL, FR), Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland
Funding: Funded through the Erasmus+ Youth Programme. Accommodation, meals, and programme costs are covered by the organisers. Travel reimbursement is provided according to Erasmus+ distance band rules.
