Online training offer : REWILD EUROPE - Online Focus Group: Nature-Based Youth Work & Storytelling

An online focus group exploring storytelling and nature-based youth work, creating a space for exchange, reflection and co-creation of practices among youth workers across Europe.


Date : 21 April 2026.


Location : Online (Zoom), Spain.


Organizer: Symbiotic Roots.


Goal: The activity aims to collect experiences, ideas and needs from youth workers regarding storytelling in nature-based youth work. It provides a participatory space to exchange good practices and contribute to the development of innovative non-formal education approaches that reconnec young people with nature through storytelling. The focus group also feeds into a broader “Rewild Europe” initiative exploring nature connection and educational methods.


Who can participate: Youth workers, youth leaders, trainers, educators and practitioners working with young people who have an interest or experience in nature-based youth work, storytelling, or non-formal education methods, and who are willing to actively contribute to discussions.


This activity is for participants from: Erasmus+ Youth Programme countries and Partner Countries Neighbouring the EU.


Funding: As an online activity, there are no participation, travel or accommodation costs.

  • Duration: approximately 2 hours (interactive online session)

  • Methodology: participatory discussion, sharing practices, collective reflection

  • Outcome: contribution to future tools, resources or projects related to nature-based youth work and storytelling
