The name “LISOFI” Was created in order to combine different social goals (promotion of the territory and its linguistic heritage: the Sicilian Language) of the applicant : Trailblazers Network Trapani Erasmus Generation APS (from now on TNTEG), with the need of international understanding on the topic through english language, this is why the project has two names:Li Social Filmaturi / The Social Director
AIMEmpower NGOs, Youth Workers and Youth by equipping them with essential video making/editing skills. That will allow them to create professional, better designed and targeted videos with equipment they already have, so called “GUERILLA FILMMAKING”.

Afternoons for input and practice;
Evenings may be necessary too for the tasks (but always for extra fun!).
There is no need for expensive media equipment, you will be working with your media equipment resources, learning how to create video productions with the same materials that you will be working with back in your local reality.
It is structured in 3 phases:1. Online Group Phase: January to March 20242. Training Course (TC):13th - 22th March3. Local Action Phase: March - May 2024
The project is looking for a multiplier effect and an impact in all partner organisations. Therefore all participants will be committed during the 3 phases of our project and will work actively both in them. We seek to invite those participants who are actively engaged in daily activities with youth, motivated to acquire new skills to increase their competence in video making and media literacy, committed to invest the knowledge for the organisation involved or for relevant social initiatives, and to share and promote the results.In order to ensure that participants with fewer opportunities get the chance to participate in this project, different partners are assigned to support each sending organisation with the inclusion of participants with fewer opportunities if needed. It will be a different organisation depending on the type of obstacles each participant faces.This will create a project with YWs from all different backgrounds, different ages, ethnicities, genders, sexualities, experiences, and levels of familiarity with video-making, which will be essential to not only bring all different types of approaches to video-making to the table, but also all different types of experiences to the forefront.
