Erasmus days and event

So the erasmus days went going on from monday all the way through to saturday. I although had no involvement the last days. Actually I was only involved two days out of six. And I will tell you all about that but I will also tell you about an erasmus party

event/orginized club thing that I saw an ad on facebook and went to, here in the city of Thessaloniki.

erasmus days

So the erasmus days in my opinion was pretty boring, weird and confusing. But that is for me, obviously for people seeking information about erasmus and our organization will find it very informative and interesting. But me still did two online presentations. The reality exceeded my expectations. I thought there would be more people in the zoom call at least or maybe more people watching the livestream on youtube. But it was more my fault because this is still a pretty small organization so should think smaller when it comes to those things. I think my presentations were fine and well made, nothing too special though, I answered good questions and was informative.

Now the erasmus party on the other hand had a much bigger impact and it was much more of an experience. So what kind of party was it? It was something called a traffic lights party. I have never heard of it before. I was really reluctant on going because it was at first my roommate's idéa and in the last minute I had decided that I wanted to show up. First it was kind of a money question but then I remembered how stupid that argument was. Because I am in a situation where I dont really have to worry about it, so lucky. No but I am really good when it comes to saving money without being a total cheapskate. So I told myself I saw only going to pay the entrance fee(that also comes with a beer) and then not spend anymore money on alcohol. Spoiler alert! I did. So back to the kind of party this was. A traffic lights party took place in a popular club in the city. And when you enter you get a light up bracelet, a green or a red one depending on if you are single or not. And they have these parties so that you can meet cool people and maybe it will lead to something… And Im single so a green bracelet for me. Now I am far from a party goer, I prefer to just stay inside and do nothing special. So I kind of wanted to leave within the first 30 minutes. But well I didn't and I left early which was at like 3 in the morning.

When the club started to get more and more people and get really crowded you can just dance and have fun with random people without even talking to them. The only questions that were asked there was: Whats your name? Where you from? Do you want to make out? And since Im so introverted I was and still is really unused to the whole clubbing, partying thing and casually making out with strangers at the club. So this was my first time making out with someone I didnt know the name of or where they are from or anything about them at all. And you know what? I would definitely do it again. It was fun, who cares. Sex on the other hand…  hard no with strangers.

I was hit really hard with something called post-party-blues or post-event-blues. I WILL tell you about that but in my radioshow, I feel like it's a subject that needs a voice.
