Dear diary | My last week of March

Updated: 2 hours ago

Hello, dear diary and reader! It's been a while since I've written anything. It's time to shed some light on how the end of March went. After all, it's already April 13th!

Speaking of work related matters, we continued discussing the Handie Dance event I mentioned in my last article about the first week of March. For now, these were just discussions, as the second part of the event will take place in Crete, in Chania, at the end of April. I assume my duties won't change much compared to the first part of the handy dance: I'll need to take photos, shoot videos, and, just as importantly, be ready to help with any minor tasks as needed.

I'm really looking forward to this trip! By the end of April, you can already swim in the sea on the island, especially if you're from a northern country. And, just as importantly, during the trip, I'll be meeting with staff at the local University of Technology to discuss matters related to the KA2 Erasmus project, which is scheduled to take place at that university. To be honest, this trip will be strictly work-related, of course, but it feels more like anticipation of a vacation! So what? Helping out at the festival with videos and photos isn't hard, especially considering the festival itself is likely to be 100% awesome. It turns out that work and fun are merging. And the upcoming meeting at the university feels like a get-together with friends, because we quickly hit it off and had a lot of fun joking around during the online meetings! Besides these two tasks, I have nothing else to do on the island, so I'm ready to run to the beach, ahahaha.

I still haven't started the graffiti and the radio show. Let's do it this way: I promise to record my voice for the radio show tomorrow. At least I'll try, since the last time I posted it, it went terribly...

What about graffiti? Hmm, that's certainly more complicated. We have some pretty ambitious plans to transform the park this summer, and the idea of a graffiti workshop sounds like a great addition to our project, but more on that later! I also heard (I don't know if it's true) that the municipality wants to build residential buildings and a shopping center on the park's site. So, the graffiti I could paint might be destroyed... Is it worth the effort? Honestly, it's a bit of a damper on my desire to get started, you know?

It's April 13th, and I wrote that I wanted to publish a few articles. I've actually written a few, but they're still not enough to boast about. However, the topics are important, so please read them!

Want to know about my personal life? Then keep reading!

I got a tattoo upgrade, specifically, correction of some lost pigment. I haven't experienced this kind of pain in a long time, so at times I felt like a fish out of water, as I was twitching. But I'm happy with the result, because before the correction, these areas irritated me: they looked sloppy and unfinished.

A friend from Spain also came to visit me in Thessaloniki, and we had a wonderful time having dinner and strolling around the city. I was surprised how the walk turned into a tour, I was constantly telling him things about the city. I had no idea I knew it so well!

Well, that's all for now. Thanks for reading, and stay tuned for my next article about the first week of April!
