Conference : Inclusion & diversity forum 2026 - Finland

A key event for people working on inclusion and diversity in the youth field. The Inclusion & Diversity (ID) Forum will bring together around 150 practitioners, youth workers, trainers, policymakers and decision‑makers to share experiences, learn from each other, and co‑create ideas to make EU Youth programmes more inclusive and accessible for all.


Date : 14 – 17 September 2026


Location : Pajulahti Olympic & Paralympic Training Center (approx. 1 h 15 min from Helsinki Airport), Finland


Organizer: SALTO Inclusion & Diversity Resource Centre


Goal: The Inclusion & Diversity Forum 2026 aims to strengthen inclusion and diversity practices in the youth sector by facilitating:

  • thematic exchanges on inclusion barriers and good practices

  • collaborative learning labs and peer‑to‑peer workshops

  • reflection on policy frameworks and organisational strategies

  • co‑design of tools and solutions to make youth activities more accessible, equitable and inclusive across diverse groups and contexts.


This activity is for participants from: Erasmus+ Youth Programme countries, Partner Countries Neighbouring the EU


Working language: English


Who can attend: Youth workers, trainers, youth leaders, organisational representatives, policymakers, and inclusion practitioners interested in improving inclusion and diversity in youth programmes and practices.


Funding: Funded by the Erasmus+ Youth in Action Programme. Accommodation, food and programme costs are covered by the hosting organisation/National Agency; travel reimbursement conditions depend on each sending National Agency.


Certification: Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate recognising their competence development during the activity.
