He is a Sign Language teacher and lives in Chania and he is a member of the local deaf community. H has usually been a regular Board member of the local association of deaf "SAMARIA" with great achievements, bringing the deaf community in the society. He is the founder and president of the Club for the Dissemination of Sign Language (2003-). Before the establishment of his Club he was involved in upgrading the quality of life and the rights of the deaf and hard of hearing witihn the island of Crete, taking many initiatives and being a much promising activist. In 2013 he was one of the two key persons for the establishment of the National Festival of Inclusive Culture DEAF AND HEARING IN ACTION.
He is a Sport and Arts fun, being distinguished for his strength in endurance sports and for his talent in painting and constructing art-pieces. His artworks are decorating the office of his Club. Andreas is one of a kind, coordinating the Sign Language Workshops in Chania.
