Study visit offer : Insights into Rural Youth Work in Tirol

Goal: The study visit “Beyond the Peaks: Insights into Rural Youth Work in Tirol” aims to explore the realities, opportunities, and challenges faced by young people living in rural and remote areas of the Austrian region of Tyrol. Participants will discover how youth work initiatives in the region contribute to inclusion, participation, social cohesion, and the vitality of rural communities.

The activity will provide participants with first-hand insights into local youth work structures, community initiatives, and innovative practices that address issues such as accessibility, youth participation, mobility, and opportunities for young people in mountain and remote regions.


Who can participate: Youth workers, educators, project coordinators, policymakers, researchers, and professionals interested in rural youth work, community development, participation, and inclusion in geographically remote areas.


Participants from: Erasmus+ Youth Programme countries, Partner Countries Neighbouring the EU


Funding: Accommodation, meals, and programme activities are expected to be covered by the organisers according to Erasmus+ funding rules. Travel reimbursement is generally provided following Erasmus+ distance band criteria and National Agency procedures. Participants are advised not to purchase travel tickets before receiving confirmation from the organisers.
