Seminar offer : "European Culture(s) of Remembrance - Edition: GREECE in Focus"

Goal: The seminar “European Culture(s) of Remembrance - Edition: GREECE in Focus” is part of the long-term series “Venues of victims // Venues of perpetrators. Mapping, decoding & processing the role of historic – civic education in (European) Youth Work”. The activity aims to explore how historical memory, remembrance culture, and civic education shape democratic engagement and youth work practices across Europe, with a special focus on the Greek context. The seminar will encourage dialogue between professionals from the fields of public history, museums, memorial sites, academia, and non-formal education.


Who can participate: Youth workers, civic educators, teachers, trainers, researchers, staff of museums and memorial sites, and representatives of civil society organisations with a strong interest in historic-civic education and remembrance culture.


Participants from: Erasmus+ Youth Programme countries


Funding: Please check the official call for details regarding travel reimbursement, accommodation, participation fees, and travel conditions. Similar editions of the programme include accommodation, meals, local transport, and travel reimbursement based on Erasmus+ distance bands.
